Spark Therapeutics today said that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined. Spark has applied to list its common stock under the symbol "ONCE" on The NASDAQ Global Market. J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC will act as lead book-running managers for the offering. Cowen and Company LLC will act as lead manager and Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC will act as co-manager.
