Monte Carlo shares dip 9.3% on debut

The shares of Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd were listed on BSE today and opened at a price of Rs 585 apiece, down 9.3 per cent from its initial public offer (IPO) price of Rs 645 per share. Apparel products manufacturer said its equity shares are listed on the exchange and admitted to dealings on BSE in the list of 'B' group securities, the company said in a statement. “Effective from December 19, 2014, the equity shares of Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd are listed and admitted to dealings on the exchange in the list of 'B' Group Securities,” the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange on December 19, 2014. The company issued 54.3 million equity shares and had raised around Rs 350 crore from them. At intra day trading the stocks of the company touched a high of Rs 632.45 apiece on BSE. Meanwhile, shares of the company ended the day at Rs 566.40 apiece, down 3.3 per cent, from its opening price on BSE.
